The following projects are at varying levels of production within Union County, PA. Some are still just ideas! Please let us know if you’d like to get involved in any way.
1. Conversation Stations
Modeled after a successful initiative in Pittsburgh, Union County’s Conversation Stations “encourage us to ditch our devices and connect with those we wouldn’t normally chat with.” Join others in casual conversation at local cafés. Conversation Stations will soon be up and running at Grams and the Lewisburg YMCA’s Cornerstone Kitchen. Follow us on Facebook for updates on local Conversation Stations.

Interested in adding a café or public place as an active Conversation Station? Email Farida and please pass along word to the owner of your favorite local café.
2. Dementia Friends
Through an accessible online course, learn how to effectively interact with friends, relatives, neighbors, and customers with dementia. Anyone can be a Dementia Friend!
3. All Ages Outdoor Game Park
We’re interested in creating a local space for outdoor games and recreation that people of all abilities can enjoy. Can you donate equipment/materials or help us design the park?
